The South Downs Way is a national trail stretching 160 kms from Eastbourne to Winchester along a ridge of beautiful chalk hills in southern Britain.
Although the trail never rises above 250m it gives amazing views in every direction and is rightly regarded as one of the finest ridge walks in England.
Each year in June there is an organised walk along the full length of the trail. The walk takes nine days which, in 2013, will be from Friday 7th to Saturday 15th June.
The cost of taking part in the event this year is £211 and the organisers are offering a 10% discount to all DFDS Seaways customers on presentation of a ferry ticket issued before 7th June 2013.
